Health Canada issues warnings over use of five foreign sexual enhancement products

Zhansheng Weige Cahoyue Xilishi tablets are not authorized for sale in Canada and have not been found in the Canadian marketplace, but may have been brought into the country by travellers or purchased over the Internet.

Health Canada has issued an alert over use of five foreign sexual enhancement products that may cause life-threatening side effects.

These natural health products are not authorized for sale in the country but may have been brought in by travellers or purchased over the internet, according to a Health Canada press release.

Health Canada has advised public to contact the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate at 1-800-267-9675 if they find the products listed above in the Canadian marketplace.

“Those who have these products are advised not to use them, and should consult with a healthcare professional if they have concerns about their health related to the use of these products,” Health Canada says on its website.

MV5 Days is not authorized for sale in Canada and have not been found in the Canadian marketplace, but may have been brought into the country by travellers or purchased over the Internet.

Product: MV5 Days, S.W.A.G and Zhansheng Weige Cahoyue Xilishi tablets

Side Effects: These products were found to contain Sildenafil, which should not be used by individuals taking any kind of nitrate drug (e.g., nitroglycerine) as it can cause potentially life-threatening low blood pressure. Individuals with heart problems are at increased risk of cardiovascular side effects such as heart attack, stroke, chest pain, high blood pressure and abnormal heartbeat. Other side effects include headache, facial flushing, indigestion, dizziness, abnormal vision, and hearing loss.

Ying Dao Di capsules are not authorized for sale in Canada and have not been found in the Canadian marketplace, but may have been brought into the country by travellers or purchased over the Internet.

Side Effects: The capsules were found to contain Tadalafil, which should not be used by individuals taking any kind of nitrate drug (e.g., nitroglycerine) as it can cause potentially life-threatening low blood pressure. Individuals with heart problems are at increased risk of cardiovascular side effects such as heart attack, stroke, chest pain, high blood pressure and abnormal heartbeat. Other side effects include headache, facial flushing, indigestion, dizziness, abnormal vision, and hearing loss.

Side Effects: The tablets were found to contain Aminotadalafil, which should not be used by individuals taking any kind of nitrate drug (e.g., nitroglycerine) as it can cause potentially life-threatening low blood pressure.
