Magnolia, TX-A 14-year-old boy is a Scrabble superstar and has taken the title of national champion in the game.
Jacob Sass from Texas has been playing the popular game since first grade.
Sass averages 10 hours a week in playing time, growing his vocabulary by studying word lists.
He rose as a champion on regional, state and national levels.
The boy says he just enjoys the game and beating other people in it.
His mother says it’s a multi-skill game.
“It’s not really only a game of words, it’s a math game and Jacob is very strong in math,” said his mother, Patricia Sass.
