Splendour in the Grass will release an additional 2,500 tickets to this year’s sold-out festival, after an application for a capacity increase of their Yelgun site was approved by the Department of Planning and Environment.
The additional tickets will be released for sale at 9am sharp AEST on Thursday, June 12 through Moshtix and will be a mixture of three day, single day and camping tickets.
Single day tickets are roughly the same price as they were last year. A day pass will set you back $149 plus booking fees, a $9 increase on last year’s $140 single-day tickets. If you simply can’t decide which day is best, or just have to see it all, three-day event tickets are $355 plus booking fees and camping tickets will set you back $99 plus booking fees (same as last year).
Tickets to the festival sold out within hours of going sale at the start of May, with many fans facing problems due to a ticketing glitch on the Moshtix which saw buyers offered reduced priced tickets and charged incorrect credit card fees.

Camping will be available on site from Wednesday, July 23. Having reassessed the space after its debut year, the footprint for this year’s Splendour site will also include the natural amphitheatre where the first ever Byron Falls Festival was held in December.
