THE 2014 Hunter Academy of Sport netball talent development programme selection trials will be held on July 27 and August 3 at the Newcastle Netball Association courts, National Park, Newcastle.
The trials will start at 8.30am and finish at 2.30pm.
Girls should be at the venue by 8am each day.
The age group for this year’s academy selections has changed.
Girls turning 13, 14, and 15 in 2014 who live in the Hunter region are eligible for selection.
The academy programme is part of the overall Netball NSW development programme.
Selection in the academy squad is a lead-in to selection to attend the Netball NSW TAP weekend in October and.
This leads to the selection of the NSW under-17 team to attend next year’s National Under-17 Championship.
The bulk of the academy squad programme will take place in the latter part of 2014 and in the early part of 2015.

Nomination forms and all selection details are available from the office, on the website and have been forwarded to all netball associations.
