AN ART and craft exhibition will take place at Claverham Community College in Battle tomorrow (Saturday) to celebrate the start of Adult Learners’ Week.
The Adult Education Department at Claverham is inviting its creative arts and crafts students to exhibit their work.
Claverham’s Adults with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities students will also be displaying some of the work they have produced over the past few months.
A wide variety of exhibits will be on display, including art work ranging from flower painting to landscapes, silver work and ornate jewellery, floristry arrangements, photography and wood carvings – some of which were exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show this year.
All are welcome at the event between 10am-1pm.
The college will also run courses on the day at a special price of £25 which includes a light lunch.
There are spaces available on Brush Strokes, Hanging Baskets and Tubs, Something To Suit Your ‘Pallet’ and Summer Stroll.
