If coach Alain Vigneault needs help motivating his New York Rangers during Game 5, there’ll be someone nearby who always knows exactly what to say.
Turns out that Neil Crone, the actor who plays the hockey coach in the popular Netflix ad, will be sitting right behind the Rangers’ bench at Staples Center tonight.
Asked beforehand what advice he might offer Vigneault, who is a self-admitted fan of the ad, Crone weighed in with the wisdom you’d expect of his famous character: “In these nail biting moments of a series, you have to think about that thing in that movie that reminds all of us that we can succeed. I definitely feel like that guy that said those things that got those people to get it.”
