The Colorado Ice will wrap up their regular season and tune up for next week’s playoff game with a road game Saturday night at the Tri-Cities Fever.
Kickoff at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, Washington, is set for 8:05 p.m.
The game matches two of the hottest teams in the Indoor Football League. The Ice (10-3) have won five games in a row and have already clinched the top playoff seed in the Intense Conference. Colorado will host Nebraska (9-4) in the conference championship game Thursday night at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland.
The Ice’s only loss in the past 10 games was a 44-35 setback to the Fever (7-6) on April 26 in Kennewick. Colorado won the first matchup of the two teams this season two weeks earlier in Loveland, 55-28.
Tri-Cities has won four games in a row and six of its past seven but was eliminated from playoff contention two weeks ago.
Nebraska plays a road game Saturday night at Texas before traveling to Colorado for the playoff game.
