A new drug along these lines is the dietary supplement known as WOW which was sold online in the USA as a treatment for arthritis and general muscle pain. The reality of WOW is that it contains a lot of the same ingredients of a prescription drug which, not surprisingly, is prescription for a reason. These ingredients have the potential to do a lot of harm when they’re not given correctly and in the correct poison, remember that the only difference between medicine and poison is the dose and too much of a good thing can be frighteningly dangerous.
The American Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) has issued various warnings about this product but as of yet no notice has been taken. It’s still available on various sites online and is sold to those unsuspecting hopefuls whose only crime is looking to ease their pain a little bit. The FDA are preparing to take much more drastic action against these websites, this could involving seizing the WOW supplement or simply blocking the websites totally.
Everyone is entitled to their hope and their dignity and marketing a cure which the seller knows is unlikely or simply won’t work is wrong in this humble writers opinion, let us know what you think!
