Danny Dietrich raced to the $5,000 All-Star sprint-car win Saturday at Lincoln Speedway.

Dietrich had an almost perfect evening, setting fast time, winning the dash and leading all 30 laps of the feature. Only his fifth-place finish in a heat race detracted from perfection.

Lance Dewease trailed Dietrich at the finish, with Tim Shaffer, Jac Haudenschild and Jim Siegel in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Gerard McIntyre Jr., Aaron Ott, Steve Owings, Thomasville’s Greg Hodnett and Brent Marks.

Phil Walter scored his first career Lincoln 358 sprint win. The last time Walter won a feature at Lincoln it was a 410 sprint event in June of 1992. York’s Jeff Rohrbaugh finished second, with another Yorker, Chase Dietz, in third. Tyler Esh and Chandler Leiby completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Jeff Halligan, Dillsburg’s Brie Hershey, Niki Young, Hanover’s Troy Wagaman Jr. and Fawn Grove’s Matt Campbell.
