Performing at home is great responsibility – everyone just expect the best result from you, Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team member, Siana Vasileva said on June 15.

She went on to add that Azerbaijani athletes still coped with their tasks and performed well.

“Everybody is happy and this is the most important thing,” Siana Vasileva said.

“The girls performed for the national team. They were a bit nervous, but still they did it well. We felt proud when they got medals and also felt happy that everything ended well,” the gymnast said.

Siana Vasileva went on to add that Azerbaijani squad performed the sixth in the team event, and Bulgarian and French teams were supposed to perform after them.

“Of course, it was impossible to say for sure, but we all felt that we will win a medal,” she concluded.
