Reds compete in Wahoo tourney

The GVA Seeds/Anesthesia Care Specialists Fremont Nighthawks Red 11-and-under select baseball team competed in the Wahoo Sam Crawford Tournament over the weekend finishing 1-2.

 

Eli Martinez drew five walks, scored five runs and swiped nine bases for Fremont. Aiden Queen and Boone Gray tallied three hits apiece, all of them doubles. Queen added three runs and four stolen bases. Gray added three RBI and two stolen bases. Shane Miller and Nathan Taylor ended with a double and two singles apiece. Miller stole three bases and Taylor had two RBI.

 

Pacey Queen scored three runs on two hits and three walks. He also stole four bases. Camden McKenzie ended with a double and four stolen bases and Alex Bigsby had three RBI.

 

Jacob Cook, Nolan Thomsen, Connor Schlueter and Hunter McNulty were the top defenders.
