BAKU, June 16 (Xinhua) — Russia won eight out of nine gold medals at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships which wrapped up here on Sunday.
Russia won the group team competition among adults with clubs, balls and ribbons, as Yana Kudryavtseva won the individual title among adults.
In the three balls and two tapes event, Russia won the junior group team and individual titles and ranked first in the group team competition among adults.
Irina Annekova won ribbon and ball and Alesya Petrova finished first in clubs.
Bulgaria claimed the gold medal in 10 clubs.
