Walking Slowly Towards Weight Loss. Keep Moving!

Exercise doesn’t have to be the effort and constant stress which people can make it out to be. You know the sorts that I mean, don’t you? The people who go for a run and have to tell everyone just how far they went and how tired they are now. Well, good for them but they’re taking the hard way round. You don’t need to sweat buckets to get fit and you certainly don’t need to be able to run five miles. All you need is the will to lose that weight and the knowledge that all exercise is better than no exercise.

Anything which you do, no matter how small it might seem is going to burn some calories. The real trick to weight loss is not letting yourself sit still for too long, always be doing something. If you can walk a distance then walk it, try and leave your car at home as much as you can. If you don’t like walking then buy a bike and cycle everywhere possible.
Walking is probably the easiest weight loss technique I can recommend because almost everyone does it every day so we all know how and you’re not going to need a ton of expensive kit to get going. What you’re going to need is some perseverance and a real desire to lose weight. Health professionals recommend around 30 minutes of exercise at a minimum each day. This includes any movements you make no matter how large or small but you’ll find by taking a 30 minute walk a day you’ll quickly start to reduce your size.
The muscles in your thighs will build up and when they do they’ll raise your metabolism as they’ll take energy to move. The metabolism is the body’s representation of how much energy it burns in an average day simply by being. The higher yours is the easier you’ll find it to lose weight!
