Warning: Your Laptop Could Make You Infertile

Men who struggle to conceive are now being warned about the danger of what is for many an everyday occurrence: laptop use. Scientists are warning that putting a laptop on your lap can be dangerous as these computers generate a great deal of heat. Heat can damage sperm, which leads in turn to problems with fertility.

Using a laptop on the table rather than on your lap could be the simple key to increasing your wellbeing and helping to restore your sexual health. Many men find that this one simple action can increase their fertility significantly, leading to a higher chance of conceiving.

This strange but simple tip proved effective for UK-based Scott Reed, a man who found that he and his wife suffered from fertility problems, due to his laptop use. The young couple tried for a baby for six months but had no success, and decided to visit a doctor just to check up on their general wellness. Initially, doctors attributed Scott’s infertility to the fact that the young man had suffered from a bout of mumps at an earlier age, which can cause infertility. Later, however, hospital tests were done on Scott’s sperm and it was discovered that the sperm that Scott was producing were perfectly healthy, apart from the fact that they had suffered from heat damage. Their tails had coiled around their heads due to the heat, making it difficult for them to swim.

Scott’s wife Laura says that Scott only uses the laptop for a couple of hours in the evening, but that this was enough to cause the damage. The young couple was very shocked to realise that this was what had been stopping them from falling pregnant. Within three months of putting the laptop on the table rather than on Scott’s lap, the young couple conceived their first child.
