Licorice
Mix it in water, and have it in order to boost your immune system. A 2015 study by researchers at the State Key Laboratory of Phytochemistry and Plant Resources, Kunming Institute of Botany, China found that licorice helps soothe sore throats. For the study, they made mice drink licorice water for six days and observed how they reacted to it. The researchers found that the micehad increased production of T-cells, which are crucial for building immunity.

This traditional herb is a great way to cure sore throats. Scientists at the University of Vienna found that sage acts by reducing the production of pro-inmflammatory interleukin (IL)-6 and increases the production of anti-inflammatory IL-10, giving you instant relief.
Ginger
This is straight out of grandmom’s advice book. Ginger is loaded with anti-inflammatory properties which help calm irritation, according to a 2013 study published by the International Journal of Preventive Medicine.
Honey
