Ingredients for paneer tikka masala
250 gm paneer
- 1 cup capsicum (green pepper)
- 4 teaspoon refined oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli
- 2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 cup onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 teaspoon onion paste
- 2 crushed to paste green chilli
- 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 handful coriander leaves
How to make paneer tikka masala
Step 1
At first, chop paneer, capsicum and onion in cubes. Then marinate paneer and veggies with the mixture of 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp oil and 1/2 cup water in a large bowl and mix well. Then cover the bowl and keep aside for 1 hour.
Step 2
Then fry paneer and veggies from both the sides equally.
Step 3
Heat oil in a deep pan and add bay leaf, cumin seeds. Then add onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste and cook for few seconds on medium flame. Stir in salt and turmeric powder.
Step 4
Add tomato, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
Step 5
Then add water and cook on the high flame. Then add paneer and cover the pan for few seconds.
Step 6
Then add fried veggies, garam masala and cook for few seconds on medium flame.
Step 7
After that garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
