What Everyone Ought to Know About Spicing Things Up

Having great sex has been proven to have benefits for your emotional health. Just because you have sex with one partner does not mean that the wild sex life of your youth has got to be left behind either. In fact, your sexual wellness and wellbeing rely on you being able to keep things active and spicy in the bedroom department.

A recent survey has even indicated that most couples are willing to spice things up in the bedroom and get a bid adventurous in their sex lives, which is contrary to what people normally think. They say no one knows what goes on behind closed doors, but thanks to the survey we now have a bit more of an idea!

The survey reported that around 80 percent of couples had tried using a lubricant during sex. An impressive 69 percent had tried dirty talk during foreplay or sex itself, whilst around 61 percent of those surveyed admitted to having used some kind of sex toy such as a vibrator during intercourse. A further 60 percent of those surveyed said that they had had sex in a situation where they might be caught, such as at a friend’s house, and 56 percent of couples said that on at least one occasion they had shared a saucy fantasy with their other half.

The survey was conducted by an organisation called Good In Bed, and also revealed that around half of the couples surveyed felt that trying something new in their sexual routine would help them to improve their sex life, although some of them struggled to think what the ‘sexy’ thing could be.

Some suggestions along these lines could be to vary the routine a little – so keep the lights on if they normally go off, try a different room in the house or try something new, such as using a sex toy or lubricant. You can also go with the old fail safe of trying on some sexy lingerie.

Men will be delighted to hear that the survey also found that women were more sexually adventurous than men.
