Italian evening to raise cash for Ovarian Cancer Action to be held at Harrogate restaurant.

AN ITALIAN evening to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Action is to take place at a Harrogate restaurant.

Sara and Stefano Lancellotti, who own Sasso Restaurant and Caffe Marconi, both in Princes Square, Harrogate, have teamed up with internationally-renowned artist Tony Brummell-Smith to host an Italian-themed fundraising evening in June.

All profits from the Italian evening, planned for Monday, June 9, will go to the charity Ovarian Cancer Action.

Mr Brummell-Smith, whose paintings hang in both Sasso and Caffe Marconi, will be unveiling a number of new pictures at  the June fundraising evening, while guests will be invited to taste wines from across Italy.

The fundraising Italian evening will also include live music, a raffle and freshly-made pizza.

Mrs Lancellotti said: “Ovarian Cancer Action is a charity close to our heart and we hope that we will raise a substantial amount from our Italian Evening and also help raise awareness about this terrible disease.”

Tickets for the Italian evening, which will be held at Caffe Marconi between 7pm and 9pm on Monday, June 9, cost £12 and will be available to buy by cash or cheque from Caffe Marconi in Princes Square, Harrogate.
