LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)—Bourbon, brunch, and a polo match. It was all part of a new event held this week in Louisville.

The Kentucky Bourbon Affair began Wednesday and included a polo tournament Sunday at Waterfront Park.

Guests were able to tailgate and celebrate all things bourbon.

Along with this event, participants were also able to get exclusive behind the scenes tours this week at local bourbon distilleries and other bourbon events.

The Kentucky Bourbon Affair seemed to be a big hit with people locally and out of state.

“Everything was absolutely fantastic. We’ve enjoyed being a guest in your city very much, and I can say what a great job the KBA has done. It really has been a fantastic event,” said Dylan Dunn, who traveled from California for the event.

“So we’ve been very appreciative of the feedback and I think a sign of a successful event is when people come up to you before it’s over and say I want to sign up for next year and buy tickets for next year,” said Eric Gregory, President of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association.

Sunday was the final day of the Kentucky Bourbon Affair, and organizers hope to start planning for next year soon.
