Orbit Electronics Group has launched www.vmevpx.com; a single online resource that enables fast, comprehensive searches of available VME-VPX solutions for virtually any Vita Compliant electronic system used in military, industrial and commercial applications.

During the inaugural period for vmevpx.com – expected to run approximately 90 days – additional products and information will be added, including downloadable data sheets for each group of products shown. Downloadable white papers will also be available on a number of relevant topics. A direct email link allows visitors to request more information or schedule a free engineering consultation.

More than 135 different standard and customized VME-VPX components, products, and options will be included. Modifications and custom designs are readily accomplished. Visitors can choose from Backplanes, System Health Monitors, Card Cages and Components, Air Transport Racks, Rear Transition Modules, Front Panel Slot Fillers, and Sensors, plus the industry-leading Behlman VPXtraä and VME Power Supplies. All are easily sorted via this website’s advanced database, searchable by Product Type, Form Factors, Interfaces, Rack Units, Number of Slots, Series, and more.

“With VME and VPX an absolutely essential part of so many electronic products and systems, it is essential that design engineers have a single resource through which they can move quickly and efficiently to explore their options,” said Ken Ice, president of the Orbit Electronics Group. “As a global leader in the design, manufacture and integration of advanced electromechanical assemblies, our group is perfectly positioned to meet design engineers’ needs with vmevpx.com, plus our wide selection of VME-VPX products, and our extensive integration services.”

www.vmevpx.com is the brainchild of the Orbit Electronics Group, consisting of Integrated Combat Systems (ICS), Tulip Development Laboratory Inc. (TDL), and Orbit Instrument (OI).

All three companies are divisions or subsidiaries of Orbit International. They work closely with Behlman Electronics of the Orbit Power Group, the designer and manufacturer of the record-setting VPXtra™ and VME power supplies.

Orbit International Corp., based in Hauppauge, New York, is involved in the manufacture of customized electronic components and subsystems for military and nonmilitary government applications.
