At Yourwellness we aim to improve your well-being in as many aspect of your life as we physically can. We’re not here to convolute things with our own weight loss methodologies but we’d very much like to impart some quick and simple changes you can make to your life to start you down the path to a healthier BMI!
– Start drinking more water
Water is great for you, it’s hydrating and it doesn’t have any calories or additives thrown in. In terms of weight loss, this is the Holy Grail. If you stop drinking whatever juices and soft drinks you may love and start drinking water just for a week, you’ll be astounded at the positive effect it has on your waist line!
– All exercise is good exercise
It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you’re moving. Walk places instead of driving to them, include some lunges in your hoovering or simply dance while no one’s watching. It really doesn’t matter, all exercise, no matter how small burns calories and any you do when you otherwise wouldn’t is a step in the right direction.
– Try not to snack
You should be able to fill up at meals and then be all right until the next one. If this isn’t the case then look at your diet and try and add in more protein or carbohydrates as these can make you feel more full and keep you going for far longer!
