Why Your Golden Years Might Be Better Than You Think

People have an awful lot of ill-founded preconceptions that were perhaps once based in fact but no longer really have any basis in reality. This is certainly true of our ideas of how the elderly should behave. Gone are the days of little old men and women gardening and knitting their ways through their golden years, the world has opened up and it’s not only the young who are taking advantage of it! In fact, statistically the old folk are taking more advantage that those in their twenties. The old say, ‘youth is wasted on the young’ has never been more true in a lot of ways!

Sexually, people over the age of fifty are having more fun. They’re having much more sex than five years ago and they’re dabbling with new partners and say their sex lives are much better than when they were in their twenties! Most conceded that they didn’t have as much sex as they once did but quality over quantity has come into effect. It seems that the older you get the more pleasurable the individual experiences you do have are! Most of the people who took an over-fifties survey for Saga health said that, in general, they were having better sex than when they were younger.

In terms of growing up, it’s great news for everyone. We can all look forward to orgasmic older years with our sex lives gradually getting better as we get older! Of course that’s no reason for us to give up and though experience might mean better sex in the future, youth means more sex right now. Providing you take the care to be safe when you’re engaging in intercourse there’s no reason not to partake as much as you want!
