CPW offers fly fishing 101 class in Springfield

 

 

SPRINGFIELD – Have you ever wanted to learn what fly fishing is all about?

 

Want to know the basics of casting, knot tying, fly selection and what you need to get started? Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers Aaron Bartleson and Mike Brown for a one day introductory course and begin your fly fishing adventures in Colorado.

 

Any beginning angler is welcome, but those 16 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

 

The Beginning Fly Fishing Class will be held in the Minnick Building at the Baca County Fairgrounds in Springfield located at 28500 CR Road 24.6 and West 9th Ave. in Springfield on Sat., May 24, from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
