Notes: Fairview finished fourth as a team in 2013, placing behind winner Regis Jesuit, Cherry Creek and Loveland. Monarch was 10th, while Boulder came in 15th … Fairview’s Miles MacKenzie and Boulder’s Christian Feiler are seeded third and fourth, respectively, in the 50 freestyle. MacKenzie placed second in the event at state last year, while Feiler placed fifth. Monarch’s Cort Sharp earned the No. 12 seed in the event … MacKenzie is seeded fourth in the 100 freestyle after winning the event last year … Boulder’s Chris Nicholson and MoHi’s Sharp also earned seeds in the top 16 for the 100 free, sitting in spots No. 8 and 14, respectively … Feiler, who finished seventh in the 100 backstroke last season, is seeded fifth going into state this time around … Fairview’s Alex Walton is seeded fourth in the 200 freestyle. The Knight finished in 16th at state a year ago … Walton is seeded sixth in the 500 free after coming in eighth last year. Nathan Rock of Boulder is seeded ninth in the event, while Fairview’s Daniel Hendricks is sitting in 14th … FHS freshman Michael Zarian is seeded third in the 200 IM with a time of 1:55.21. That mark would have placed him fifth at state in 2013 … After finishing in 12th as a frosh, Boulder sophomore PJ Stapleton is seeded fifth in the 100 butterfly … The Panthers and Knights are seeded first and second in the 400 freestyle relay. Boulder’s seed time of 3:11.22 would earn the team All-American consideration at state … Boulder is second in the 200 freestyle relay seeding with a time of 1:27.83, less than two-tenths of a second back of Grandview’s time. Fairview is seeded fourth with a time of 1:28.29 … Legacy qualified three swimmers in two multiple events, as Daniel Bradford, Alex Nielsen and Andrew Jaschke will all represent the Lightning in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle … Legacy’s Devlin Cortens and Fairview’s Duncan Lester are the only two local divers to qualify for state.

Notes: Silver Creek took sixth at state in 2013, while Broomfield was eighth. Longmont placed 22nd … Broomfield is seeded fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:39.13. Silver Creek is eight-tenths of a second back and seeded seventh. The Raptors took fourth in the event last year … Tyler Lis of Silver Creek is seeded first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:44.48, a mark that would have placed fifth at state last season … Longmont’s Andrew Olson is seeded 12th in the 200 freestyle. The Trojan is also poised to make the finals in the 100 butterfly, where he is seeded 14th … Lis is also seeded fourth in the 100 fly at 52.01 seconds, which would have been good for second place in 2013. Broomfield’s Kris Kerr is seeded sixth in the event … Kerr is seeded ninth in the 50 freestyle, just ahead of freshman teammate Austin Crump … Crump will also be competing in the 100 free, where he is seeded eighth, the highest of any frosh in the event … Senior Eagle teammate Alex Prins posted a time less than two seconds back and will be seeded 12th in the 100 free … The Raptor’s Sam Willett is seeded second in the 200 IM with a time of 1:55.42. His teammate Lis won the event last year in 1:54.46 … Willett is also seeded third in the 100 breaststroke. His time of 59.28 seconds would have won the event in 2013 … After finishing eighth a season ago, Broomfield will be seeded third in the 200 freestyle relay. Silver Creek is seeded eighth … Eagle Blake Logan is the second seed in the 100 backstroke, clocking in at 53.94 seconds, while teammate Andy Hahn sits in seventh. Logan’s time would have placed him fourth at last year’s competition … And after finishing seventh and eighth in the 400 freestyle relay a year ago, Silver Creek and Broomfield will again be expected to compete for a top spot in the finals. The Eagles enter with the fourth seed, while the Raptors hold the sixth spot.
