THE Cootamundra Nursing Home will host a Biggest Morning Tea for the Cancer Council at the home this weekend.

All are welcome to join in the occasion and help raise funds for the charity which is working towards finding a cure for cancer.

The NSW Cancer Council helps support cancer research, cancer prevention and patient support and all funds raised on the Thursday at the home will go towards this cause.

There are always loads of goodies on offer at the home’s Biggest Morning Tea so be sure to check it out and support a great cause!

Big weekend of footy in town

WHATEVER football code you support there’s a game for everyone in town this weekend.

This Saturday the Tricolours Rugby Club will play at Country Club Oval against Wagga City while across town at Clarke Oval the Blues Aussie Rules Club are home to Yass.

On Sunday the Bulldogs League Club will take on South City at Fisher Park.

Kick off for the rugby will be 1.15pm for the 17s, 2pm for second grade and 3.15pm while the Blues will commence their game at 2pm.

With five grades of league it will be a big day all day on Sunday at the league.

Get down and support your teams – it’s not often three codes of footy are all in town!
