Save the Date: Equestrian Connection Charity Polo Match

Go to Source

Ever been to a polo match? Want to visit Crabtree Farm? Equestrian Connection is hosting a polo tournament featuring American and Argentine players at Crabtree Farm in Lake Bluff at 2 p.m. on June 21. It’s a great opportunity to see the sport in action at a beautiful lake front vista — while helping raise money for the Lake Forest-based therapeutic riding facility.

Jim Cornelison of Blackhawks fame will be among the crowd, signing autographs — and he’ll start the festivities with his goose-bump-inducing rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Lawn seats are $75; VIP tickets are $150 and include tent seating and refreshments.

Equestrian Connection’s therapeutic riding programs serve people with special needs. Funds raised during the Charity Polo Cup last year provided scholarships to 35 riders who needed assistance with the tuition — and there are many more families who need financial support this year.

Tickets are limited! For tickets, go to www.signmeup.com/99951
or visit www.equestrianconnection.org or call 847-615-8696.

(On the day of the event, please park at the Lake Bluff Train Station on Sheridan Road and take a FREE shuttle bus to the polo field –the shuttle begins at 1:45 p.m.)
