BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) — The National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park has begun laying the foundation for it’s track.
Workers started pouring the base layer of asphalt yesterday. Nearly two-point-five miles of the first layer is complete.
The track is just over three miles long and is expected to be completely poured by late June.

The park’s grand opening is scheduled for Labor Day weekend.
