It took nearly five months for Eric Prydz to return to his EPIC Radio podcast for the first time in 2014, but now it seems the Swedish superstar is on a roll. Just two weeks after the surprise, he’s back to wow us again.

Episode 12 of EPIC Radio is a particularly special installment for Prydz: It centers on his upcoming live show at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden this September, where he’ll bring his widely anticipated EPIC 3.0 stage set-up, supposedly the “largest hologram in the world.”

“We’ll be going back and listening to some of my absolute favourite moments from the EPIC live concerts we’ve been doing over the past five years,” Prydz begins, as he lays out the mix’s agenda. He also reflects on the concept of EPIC: “We felt we wanted to take the whole live thing to a different level, but still do it in a different way then what people were doing back then… it was all about having the biggest confetti cannons and big LED walls, but I wanted to do something really different, almost like an extension of the music.” Thus, EPIC was born.

Enter a gargantuan three hours – yep, you read that right – of Prydz goodness, including portions of past live performances from Alexandra Palace and the Hammerstein Ballroom. Here, you’ll hear all facets of Prydz, from Pryda to Cirez D, and as the tracklist you’ll find here shows – no Prydz mix is complete without a bevy of ‘ID’s.
