Race 1
(5) NOBLE FLIRT comes from a top barn and trotted a solid mile last week. This is just her third start of the season and she has a license to improve at a price. (9) FINAL FANTASY closed very well last week to finish third, is versatile and can only improve off that effort. (4) MISSYS GA GA draws inside and raced very strongly at high odds last week to finish third. She’s a factor from another inside post.
Race 2
(1) SPECKLED DOOR gets the rail, has won five of 10 starts this season and comes out of the McNair barn. (3) IM DRINKIN DOUBLES hasn’t missed the board yet this season, including two wins and is capable of the class jump. (7) KUCHAR hasn’t been racing at his best in recent starts, but is due for a turnaround effort.
Race 3
(3) MARIO BI just missed last week, by a nose, as the favorite at this level. (10) MASSIVE POCKETS went a speedy mile last week and got picked off in deep stretch. He has gate speed, gets Ritchie in the bike and makes just his third start of the season. (7) MISS EVERYTHING has the speed, comes from a top barn and should offer a price in this class.
Race 4
(2) POCKET TRIP is fresh off an open length win, draws inside and will get a lot of attention in here. (4) WHITE BECOMES HER hasn’t missed the board in three starts this season, including a win last week in this class. (6) TOSCA closed well last week, comes out of the Henriksen barn and faces an easier bunch.
Race 5
(6) WARP FACTOR THREE comes out of the O’Sullivan barn and won last week by open lengths in this class. (7) REGAL BABE has hit the board in three of four starts this season, enjoys being put in the race and is a major threat. (4) MAJOR STARLIGHT was a non-factor last week with a post 10 start, but draws better this week and has hit the board in three of his last four.
Race 6
(1) HOLY MOLIE MAGGIE has finished second in each of her last four starts in this class, gets Jamieson in the bike and is overdue for a win. (2) ZORGWIJK JOCK moves back onto this circuit, has raced competitively in this class in the past and comes out of Moreau’s barn. (4) R RAISED EMOTIONS shows the speed and will need an inside trip. He’ll likely offer a price and is a good option for the triactor.
Race 7
(5) COBBLE BEACH shows the speed, but has been lacking the knockout punch. He’s due for a win and will likely race from behind. (7) SHADOWBRIAND hasn’t missed the board in all four starts this season and comes out of the Darling barn. (3) SOLAR SURPRISE draws well, is versatile and continues to improve with each start.
Race 8
(3) MAJESTIC GINGER draws inside and qualified very strongly for trainer Steacy. She shows the speed and looks ready in her first start of the season. (8) SHEER FLEX closed very well to win last week in going away fashion. He’ll likely offer a low price. (6) MARCELLA HALL comes out of the Keeling barn, drops out of the SBOA series and faces an easier field.
Race 9
(4) SAMIRA HANOVER has won four straight and has been racing at her best. She looks like the horse to beat in here. (6) BWT TAJ also has a winning streak in his favor and remains perfect since arriving in the Auciello barn. (1) FORK closed like a freight train last week and if he’s better positioned, he poses as a concern.
Race 10
(5) COMPANY MAN hasn’t been worse than second in four starts this season, enjoys being put in the race and starts from a good post. (3) MAJOR HOMER has excellent gate speed and has started off this season in fine form. (1) IDEAL JET gets the rail and went a speedy mile two back. He’s rounding into form and poses as a threat.
