USA Water Polo has announced the Women’s Senior National Team roster ahead of this month’s FINA World League Super Final, and four Stanford standouts earned spots along with UCLA grad KK Clark of Menlo Park.

Melissa Seidemann, a 2013 Stanford graduate, was joined by soon-to-be 2014 graduate Annika Dries as well as current Cardinal standouts Kiley Neushul ’15 and Maggie Steffens ’16.

The quartet, along with Clark, helped the USA to a silver medal at the FINA Intercontinental Tournament last month in Riverside.

The FINA World League Super Final will run from June 10-15 in China. The USA has captured the gold at this event seven of the past eight years.

Dries, Neushul and Steffens helped lead Stanford to its fourth NCAA title in 2014, and third over the past four years, culminating with a 9-5 victory at the National Collegiate Championship in Los Angeles. All three players were named to the All-Tournament First Team while Dries was named the Tournament MVP.

This past Saturday, Dries also claimed the Peter J. Cutino Award, the second of her career (2011, 2014).

Steffens was also a finalist for the Cutino Award, while both she and Neushul were also named to the All-MPSF First Team after tying for the team lead in goals with 51 apiece.

Seidemann, the 2013 Cutino Award winner, finished her Stanford career tied for the most goals in Cardinal history with 239, and helped lead the Cardinal to two national titles (2011-12).
