School Nutrition Association Holds Conference
“Manufacturers have been changing all of their products to meet our guidelines. To go from the 51 percent whole grains, now we’re required to go to the 100 percent whole grains,” says Becky Heinert the North Dakota president for the SNA.
“North Dakota is one of only two state nationwide who’s actually serving more school meals, more school lunches than any other state,” says Leah Schmidt the national president for the SNA.
Conference organizers say they’re proud to report this is the largest group to ever attend this event.
