Senior Star at Weber Place Honors the Longest Day with Painting Relay for All
To mark the longest day of the year, the greater Will County community is invited to Senior Star at Weber Place to participate in a day-long painting extravaganza. Canvases throughout the community will be available for anyone who wishes to stop by for a few hours or even just a few minutes to paint and show their support for Alzheimer’s awareness. In addition to painting, a silent auction featuring a variety of special items will be available for bidding throughout the day.
“We are thrilled to be participating in this special and unique event to support the fight against and awareness of Alzheimer’s disease,” said Michelle Franzak, executive director of Senior Star at Weber Place. “This activity represents the heart of Senior Star’s dedication to providing innovative, dignified and superior services to all seniors, especially those facing the challenges of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We hope everyone in the community will find a few minutes to paint with us as we support continuous opportunities to raise awareness regarding the many challenges of Alzheimer’s.”
All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
