The unique event at St John’s Church saw a day of continuous musical entertainment by a dozen local groups and individuals in aid of ToiletTwinning.org.
The organisation helps to bring clean water and safe sanitation to the world’s poorest people in Africa and Asia.
Curate Simon Bale, pictured right with the unique bowl for donations, said: “We are delighted to have raised such a great sum for this excellent cause.”
“£60 buys a single latrine while £240 buys a whole toilet block, so we have all helped to make a difference today.”
Among those taking part was Churchfield School’s singers Singer Andy Stamp had a loo-themed tamborine for the event.
