Chesworth excels in the pool once again

Tallulah Chesworth has been outstanding in the pool once again at various short course swimming meets.

 

In Orange at the Jets Swim Club Championships, Tallulah placed first in 100m backstroke, which she also broke the record in, first in 100m IM, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Second in 50m breaststroke, 100m butterfly, 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke.

 

In Gunnedah short course championships last weekend, Tallulah placed first 50 butterfly and freestyle. Second in 50m breaststroke, 50m backstroke and second in 12yrs and under 200 IM. This was an amazing result for Tallulah as she is only 9yrs of age.

 

Tallulah also competed in the open 200m freestyle for the first time and placed third.

 

Many PB’s were also gained in the 12yrs and under 100m events.

 

The Lightning Ridge Piranha Swim Club members and committee would like to congratulate Tallulah on her amazing efforts and results and wish her all the best at her next competition which will be this weekend at the New England and North West Short Course Area Championships
