Summer Reading Adventure is here. Summer reading is for all ages 1-111. Vacation time is a great time for some down time with a book. We’ve gotten lots of good new books so stop in, grab a book and enjoy summer.

 

Upcoming events include:

 

• July 7, 6:30 p.m., Genealogy Group – This group meets the first Monday evening of the month to learn more about genealogy. They have special speakers, workshops, and help each other. Everyone is welcome.

 

• July 7, 1-3 p.m., and J15, 5-7 p.m., Quilting Group – This beginning group is led by Lisa Fields and Carol Brady. Call the library for more information.

 

•June 18, 25 and July 2, 9, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Library Camp – For ages 5 to grade 4. Stories, crafts, fun and refreshments. Must preregister. Camp themes will include: robots, exercise, invention and food.

 

• Tuesdays, 11 a.m., Summer Prescghool Storytime – Activities include stories, craft and lots of fun. Please preregister.

 

Summer Reading Adventure is a fun time at the library. At signup, children will receive a bookbag, bookmark, a reading log, a tattoo and a robot keychain. They will then receive prizes along the way and many coupons at summer’s end. Teens and adults also sign up and each time they check out and read a book, they will put in a drawing slip for an end of the summer prize drawing. Everyone looks forward to summer reading and this summer will be great. You can sign up anytime during June and July.
