San Diego Padres Vs. Seattle Mariners Live Radio Broadcast

The San Diego Padres play the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday in Game 2 of their series. The game starts at 3:40 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast below.
Seattle won Game 1 on Monday, 5-1. Mariners infielders Kyle Seager hit a three-run homer — his 10th homerun of the season — in the first inning, and Brad Miller hit a solo homer in the second.
“It’s a good feeling that the skipper has confidence in you, that’s always good,” Seager told the Associated Press after the game. “In that situation I had seen a couple of pitches … when you get the opportunity you have to make sure you capitalize and get a ball in the air.”
On the defensive front, Mariners starting pitcher Chris Young did his job and kept San Diego scoreless on four hits through six innings pitched. While the right-hander pitched an excellent game, he admitted it was tough to enjoy with San Diego mourning the loss of Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn, who passed away on Monday.
“I think any fun about pitching against them disappeared this morning with the news of Tony passing,” said Young, who played in San Diego from 2006 to 2010. “My condoloences go out to his family, the Padres organization, the city of San Diego. He meant a lot to everyone there and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to work with him and get to know him.”
Mariners pitchers Roenis Elias (5-5, 4.13 ERA) is scheduled to start on Tuesday. He’s coming off Thursday’s 6-3 loss to the New York Yankees, who took him for six earned runs.
Elias will be opposed by Eric Stults (2-8, 5.79). The left-hander has allowed 1.74 home runs on the road, according to the Associated Press, and is winless in his eight starts this season outside of San Diego.
