Folks will be playing a lot of hands of bridge on Saturday, June 21st, to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.

“The Longest Day” Marathon Bridge games honor the endurance of patients with Alzheimer’s, as well as their families.

They take place on the first day of summer, known as the longest day of the year.

The games are a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association, too.

They’re at the Bangor Motor Inn with registration from 8 a.m to 9 a.m.

Suggested donations are $50 a player or $200 a table.
