USA Gymnast Maggie Nichols will compete at 2014 Tokyo World Cup

USA Gymnastics INDIANAPOLIS – March 28, 2014 – Maggie Nichols of Little Canada, Minn./Twin City Twisters, will represent the USA at the 2014 Tokyo (Japan) World Cup. The event, which is the final leg of the 2013-14 International Gymnastics Federation World Cup all-around series, is scheduled for April 5, 2014, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. 2013.

Defending champion Asuka Teramoto of Japan is expected to compete, along with 2006 World all-around champion Vanessa Ferrari of Italy, Julia Steingruber of Switzerland, Victoria Moors of Canada, Carlotta Ferlito of Italy, and Roxana Popa of Spain. Nichols replaces Peyton Ernst of Coppell, Texas/Texas Dreams, who is now the second alternate for the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships.
