Matt Leinart wants you to buy some newspapers

Not too long ago Matt Leinart was winning a Heisman Trophy and helping lead USC to a national championship — which never happened according to the NCAA. At the time he seemed destined for a long, professional career. Sadly, things haven’t quite worked out that way.

After being drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2006 Leinart’s career fizzled. He was most recently released by the Buffalo Bills before the start of the 2013 season, and isn’t on anybody’s roster at the moment. But that hasn’t killed his endorsement opportunities!

That’s right, Matt Leinart currently subscribes to The Orange County Register, possibly because he’s looking for a job in the classified section. Here’s hoping he finds one soon, though considering he originally signed a $50.8 million deal with the Cardinals — with $14 million guaranteed — the odds are he probably doesn’t need one that badly just yet.
