Hollywood Casting Director, Alex Newman, will be coming to Orange to check out the local talent.

Ms Newman, who has worked on major Hollywood TV shows, including Glee, The Glee Project, Supernatural and The Mentalist, will be on the look out for actors and triple threats.
Ms Newman will be in Orange between Monday, May, 26 and May, 27, and is keen to work with actors, singers and dancers of all levels.
“You never know what you will find,” Ms Newman said. “We didn’t even hear Cory Monteith sing before he was cast, but we knew we had our Finn.”
Hayley McCarthy, originally from Orange, has moved to LA, to pursue her dream of film and television acting.
Ms McCarthy said anyone with the desire to perform, should definitely enrol.
“Everyone who has a pulse and has a dream like me should enrol,” she said. “ Alex gives such great, honest feedback.”
There will be four master-classes run for both actors and triple threats.
On Monday, May, 26, between 10 am to 2 pm, on performers between 10-16, will have the chance to show their talents.
Between 3 pm to 7 pm, performer 16 years and over will have the chance to attend the master class on Monday, May, 27.
Ms Newman will be seeing performers 16 years and over on Tuesday, May, 27, between 10 am to 2 pm.
The last master class will be held between 3 pm to 7 pm, on Tuesday, May, 27 for performers of ages 10 to 16 years.
