Just as the warm spring weather is bringing tourists back to Delaware’s beaches, it’s also bringing back another, more mysterious creature. The public is invited to join state park naturalists to explore what is often called “Delaware’s living fossil,” the horseshoe crab, at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 25, at Delaware Seashore State Park.
In this hands-on program, participants will learn all about this arthropod’s ancient history, its close relation to spiders and scorpions, and its important role in the medical field.
The cost for this program is $4 per person. No registration is required.
