Third Annual Sequoia High Baseball Benefit Tournament, Saturday at Shoreline GL. Shotgun start: 1 p.m. Cost: $150 per single golfer or $550 per foursome, which includes full banquet dinner and awards ceremony following tournament; welcome packs for every participant; prizes for winning teams, as well as raffles and contests; longest drive and closest to the pin competitions. San Jose High Alumni Tournament, Saturday at The Villages G&CC. Registration/brunch: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tee-off time: 1 p.m. Donation: $125 per person, which includes greens fees, cart rental, brunch, and BBQ dinner. Sixth Annual St. Francis Alumni Tournament, June 13 at Santa Clara G&TC with a shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m. A reception and dinner will follow on campus at 7 p.m. with prizes, raffle and awards. 25th Annual Carl Monroe Golf Tournament, June 20 at The Ranch Golf Club. Cost is $170 per player and $50 dinner only. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Scramble format. Tee times start at 12:30 p.m. and after party at 8 p.m. Entry includes greens fees, cart, tee prizes, range balls, complimentary on-course drinks and snacks. Awards for first and second, closest to the pin contests, team photos, box lunch, beef and chicken dinner buffet, raffle and silent and live auction. Tee hole sponsors $150. Proceeds benefit the William C. Overfelt Booster Club for students. 16th Annual Frank Sisk Classic Golf Tournament, June 20 at Poppy Ridge GC in Livermore. This is a benefit for The League of Volunteers (LOV) six weeks of free Summer recreation in the parks program for Tri-City children ages 5-12. Shotgun start: 1 p.m. Putting contest 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Scramble format. Registration is as low as $149 per person with a foursome, $159 for a twosome and $169 for a single golfer. Cost includes box lunch, dinner, greens fees, cart, range balls and tee prizes. There are awards for winning teams, longest drive and closest to the pin. The Fremont Rodent Society 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, June 27 at The Course At Wente Vinyards. In honor of Barry Taylor and the Taylor Family Foundation. James Lick High Comet Open, June 28 at Los Lagos GC. Registration is from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shot gun start. Cost: $100 per person, which includes lunch, raffle, and award ceremony. The tournament is an athletic fundraiser for the James Lick High sports programs. Prizes for longest drive, closest to the pine, and winning foursome. Tony Lema Invitational, Aug. 1 at Boundary Oak GC, benefiting St. Elizabeth High School.
