Enjoy exciting, free entertainment at the Schaumburg Park District including reptiles, jugglers, music and more!

 

Noonie Times, one of the District’s most popular summer attractions, brings in live entertainment weekly for all ages. This free series will take place from noon to 1 p.m, Wednesdays from June 18 to July 16 at the Community Recreation Center outdoor theater, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

 

“The series features some past favorites and a few that are a bit out of the ordinary which makes watching fun for everyone,” said Pam Gauper, party coordinator for the District. “The variety of performers will keep the audience coming back each week.”

 

The summer season will kick off with Scribblemonster who will provide music and entertainment inspiring children to draw outside the lines on June 18.Catch This! A dynamic comedy juggling duo will perform June 25. Cold Blooded Creatures presented by Jim Nesci, will give children a close-up look at reptiles July 2. Original music for families will be performed by The Dreamtree Shakers on July 9. The event series will conclude on July 16 with Rolie Polie Guacamole who will show everyone a high-energy, interactive show with a mix of funk, rock and folk music.

 

Entertainment is subject to change. In the case of inclement weather, entertainment will be moved inside the Community Recreation Center.

 

Participants should bring a picnic blanket and lunch. Food also will be available for an additional fee.

 

Groups and camps are welcome.
