If you go to the Rockhampton library on a Wednesday morning you’ll see a group of ladies sitting enjoying each others company and at the same time knitting for a great cause.
They have been busily making lovely woolen scarves, beanies and blankets which will be given out at the Homeless Connect event next Thursday.
I went along to take a look at their beautiful work and find out more about what they have been doing to help in the community.
If you would like to donate some goods to the Homeless Connect event you can drop off non-perishable foodstuffs, deodorants and mosquito repellant to the Rockhampton Regional Council.
