The World Cup is not even 24 hours old but we’ve already seen plenty of question marks placed over the standard of refereeing.

Diego Costa, the incoming Chelsea striker, is the latest to benefit from a controversial decision, after he won a spot kick against Holland.

The was clipped down in the box and the ref immediately pointed for a spot-kick.

However, plenty claim it was a dive – and Twitter is alive with people calling out the Brazilian-born forward.
