PHILADELPHIA – Five members of the Drexel field hockey program will compete in the 2014 Women’s National Championships this week. Sophomores Danielle Grossi and Jenna Knouse were named to the USA Red team, while junior Allyson Fuller will play for the USA White team. Freshman Jessica McCarthy will be a member of the Patriots squad and junior Meghan Plank will join Freedom in this week’s competition. Sophomore Lauren Hibshman was also selected to the U21 team, however she will be unable to participate.
The complete schedule of events is listed below. The Women’s National Championship will be held from June 15-21 at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa.
