Discounted meals at Five Loaves Cafe
Bad things may come in threes, but at least at Five Loaves Café, news fittingly comes in fives. The restaurant recently shared the following updates. “Oh my gosh, we are shaking and moving,” owner Casey Glowacki says.
One: The company behind Five Loaves has unified the café, catering division and Sesame Burgers and Beer under the name GlowFisch Hospitality.
Two: Five Loaves’ Mt. Pleasant location has launched an industry night. On Mondays, diners who show a pay stub linking them to the food-and-beverage sector get 50 percent off their appetizers and entrees.
Three: Marian Fuller, formerly a cupcake decorator at Sugar Bakeshop, has joined GlowFisch (see above) as corporate pastry chef.
Four: Sesame’s Mt. Pleasant location is offering growlers-to-go.
Five: Five Loaves’ annual dine-in “locals appreciation night” is scheduled for June 30. Sandwiches and salads are priced at $5, while entrees cost $8 during the popular event. “Come early or late to avoid the wait,” Glowacki advises. For more information, visit fiveloavescafe.com.
