KARACHI: Pakistan CC clinched the KCCA Zone-VI Daud Khan Memorial cricket title after defeating Alamgir Gymkhana by 56 runs in the final played at the RLCA Ground in North Karachi.

 

Batting first, Pakistan CC scored 235-8 in 30 overs with Shaharyar Ghani making 73 off 40 balls with the aid of seven sixes and three sixes.

 

Test wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed hit 55 (five fours and 2 sixes) while Pakistan batsman Asad Shafiq contributed 51 (seven fours and one six).

 

In reply, Alamgir Gymkhana were all out for 179 in 29.4 overs with Saad Ali (50, four boundaries) and Mohammad Hasan (47) the leading run-getters.

 

Leg-spinner Shahzaib Ahmed Khan bowled brilliantly to claim five wickets for 25 runs.
