Simple tricks to tone your body after weight loss

Once you lose weight, it’s important to tone your body. As weight loss makes your skin saggy because of fat loss beneath your skin, toning them, right after shedding kilos, gives your body the perfect shape. Here we have mentioned a few simple and effective tips that will help you tone your body.

For arms
When you lose weight, the skin under your arms tends to sag. Doing overhead stretches helps in giving them a perfect shape.

Exercise: Sit with your back straight and hold dumbbells in both the hands. Raise your arms straight out in front of you with your palms facing inward. Now, slowly lift the dumbbells straight up so they are above your head. Bend your elbows and your hands should be behind your ears. Hold for five to 10 seconds and then, lower your arms. Do 10 to 12 reps. You can do this exercise on alternate days.

 

For legs
Fat loss mostly impacts inner thighs. Hence, there are several exercises that can help in toning your thigh muscles. Lunges, squats are a few exercises for shaping your inner thighs.

Exercise: Lie on your left side with your left leg straight and your right leg bent at a 90-degree angle. Prop yourself up on your elbow. Now, keep your left leg straight and slowly raise it until you feel a slight stretch in your inner thigh. Hold for five seconds and return to starting position. Do it 10 times and then move to your left leg. If your inner thigh skin is too saggy, you can do this exercise four times a week.

For neck and chin
No one wants a double chin and it’s likely to appear even when you have gained only a few extra kilos. There are several exercises that can help in getting rid of double chin and doing them regularly is the most effective way to eradicate it. Hate double chin? Exercise: Stand straight. Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling. Do not strain your neck. Open your mouth and close it, slowly touching your teeth together. You will feel a slight stretch in the muscles of your chin. Repeat this exercise five to 10 times a day and get effective results.

 

For abs: After losing weight from the abdomen area, the next step should be to trim unwanted skin.

Exercise: Lie on your back with your knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Place your hand behind your head and without bending your neck, slowly raise your head and upper back off the floor. Hold for five seconds and return to your starting position. Repeat 10 to 20 times. You can do this core exercise on alternate days.
