Effective home remedies to beat menstrual pain during your periods

Menstruation is a natural part of a woman's life, but painful menstrual cramps are a very annoying problem for many. Many women suffer from painful periods, unaware of the effective natural remedies that can make their periods more comfortable. 

Vegetable juice
Women suffering from painful or low menstrual flow can take the half cup of parsley juice mixed with carrot or any other vegetable juice. This reduces pain and helps make the blood flow proper and normal.

Aloe vera
Aloe vera juice with honey is also well known to ease the flow and reducing the pain.

Basil
Basil is another very effective herb for reducing menstrual pain and cramps. 
Add one tablespoon of basil leaves to one cup of boiling water. Cover tightly and allow it to cool. Drink this every few hours to ease cramps.
    Sesame seeds
You can also take simply sesame seeds in water and drink it twice during menstruation.

Ginger
Ginger is a wonder herb that can effectively ease menstrual cramps. Grate a small piece of ginger and boil it in a cup of water for five minutes. Strain it and add a little honey and lemon juice. Drink this tea three times a day during your menstrual cycle.

Papaya
Papaya is very helpful and treats a lot of menstrual problems. Raw papaya helps women suffering from severe pain or less bleeding problem.  

Lavender oil
Applying lavender oil around your stomach is known to help to relieve cramps in just 10 to 15 mins.

Banana
Banana is very good fruit during menstruation and those who have excess pain in back and stomach can take the banana leaf that should be cooked in little oil and consume it mixed with curd. 

Coriander seeds
Take coriander seeds in water and the ratios should be 15 – 20 seeds in one glass of boiling water. Continue boiling it till the water gets reduced to half. Let the mixture stand for sometime and then drink it. 

Fennel
Add one teaspoon of fennel seeds to a cup of boiling water. Simmer the mixture on low heat for five minutes. Remove from heat and strain the tea. Add one teaspoon of honey and mix well. Drink this herbal tea two times daily beginning three days before the expected start date of your cycle. Continue drinking it as needed for pain. Drink it hot for the best result.
